Companies from the tri-county area generously gave gift certificates to the annual Food Pantry raffle. Thirty-one lucky winners were announced Sunday, July 6th, at the Food Pantry of Jeff Davis County.
First prizes were two one hundred dollar gift certificates from Porter’s Thriftway which went to Jim Lynch and Lynda George.
Madge Lindsey won the $50 certificate from Stone Village Market.
Other prizes were from Big Bend Coffee won by Deb Billings; Brown Dog Garden won by Cindy Crawford; Cueva de Leon won by Fred Harmon; Davis Mountain Nut Company won by Noah Lynch; Dolce far Niente Texas won by Sally Stump; Fort Davis Drug Store won by Lulu Lopez; Herbert’s Caboose won by Missy Martin; Just Because won by Sherrill Easterling; El Patio won by Matthew Shetrone; two gift certificates from La Casita won by Garrick Stephens and Phillip Low; La Trattoria won by Juan Dominguez; Lupita’s won by Kathy Masterson; Maria Grub’s crocheted blankets went to Ruth Park and David Taylor; Mary Lou’s Café won by Frankie Estes; two Plaine certificates won by Clay Chisholm and Yolanda Belazi; Poco Mexico won by Mary Fenton; four Raspa certificates went to Maggie McCollum, Fonda Giardi, Toni Case and Cindy Meade; Reata won by Song McClesky; Robert Tyree’s leather bowl went to Jolanda Trussel; Star Date Café certificate went to Keisha Otoupal; Wok and Roll two certificates were won by Huey Rudy and Ezequiel Garcia and American Greetings went to N. Anderson.
The Food Pantry of Jeff Davis County is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides supplemental food with an emphasis on wholesome choices. It relies on private donations and grant contributions to purchase food. All proceeds from the raffle ticket sales support the Food Pantry and its Patrons.
